Question:
I cannot reach the site or I receive
the error message "The Page
Cannot Be Displayed" or "Connection
Timed Out" or I receive a
page redirecting to another page.
Answer:
This is usually a temporary problem
due to either a busy internet,
the servers are working very hard,
or the page has changed and you
are being redirected to the newest
location.
Solution:
PeachPatch pages change often.
To receive the most current versions,
click the Refresh button on your
browser. If you are a frequent
visitor, please empty your "temporary
internet files" from time
to time (found in Internet Explorer
under 'Tools/Internet Options/Temporary
Internet Files'). Emptying your
temporary internet files can also
clear up a lot of space on your
computer. Please realize that
by doing this, you are emptying
your browser's 'History'. Internet
connections are not 100% as you
well know. When you click on a
link, the request is sent from
your machine to your ISP to our
servers. Did you know that in-between
there can be up to 50 servers
that handle the request? The request
is answered and travels back thru
the same, or a different, route
to your computer screen. Sometimes,
in the transport your request
is lost or broken. All of this
can take milliseconds but that
is not always the case. Depending
upon your connection speed and
computer speed, the pages can
take from less than half a second
to load to minutes! Another possibility
is that the servers are busy or
experiencing another problem.
When traffic is really busy, the
servers are dealing with thousand
of requests each minute. Though
the servers are up 99.9% of the
time, that still means that there
may be a short period of down
time. The down time is usually
spread through out the year. Enjoy
and "refresh" often.

Question:
When I try to send a
page using the Tell A Friend it
doesn't work.
Answer:
Tell A Friend will open
a new popup window. Norton Antivirus
and Firewall can prevent the Tell
A Friend from working. It may
also prevent some of the images
from showing on the page by considering
them ads.
Solution:
If you have a firewall or antivirus
software, blocking a popup window
or ad blocking, it is blocking
the Tell A Friend. Changing your
computer software settings will
correct these problems.

Question:
I cannot hear the music on your
site.
Answer:
Your audio plug-in is either not installed or not working properly. You
may also not have a soundcard. Your browser may not be configured for
JavaScript.
Solution:
The JavaScript issue is merely a setting in your browsers Tools/Internet
Options/Security settings. You might need to try different settings but
accepting Javascript is the ultimate setting that you need to use for
the music. Different browsers require different settings. Some browsers
will not allow the javascript to be run, therefore the sound will be disabled.
If this is the situation, please try using Internet Explorer with does
allow javascript. Download
Internet Explorer Here
Please go to the Microsoft web site, and download the newest version of
the Microsoft
Media Player, to enjoy the PeachPatch quality sound. If you already
have a media plug-in for your browser and are still experiencing problems
you might have to re-install the plug-in by running the setup application
once again. Note to AOL users: Your service provider updates your software
from time to time. If you are having difficulty hearing the music, you
might have to download the latest free Microsoft
Media Player plug-in and re-install this plug-in for your operating
system.
Microsoft Users: If you are still having trouble, try the Microsoft
sound troubleshooting tool.

Question:
When I am on your site my computer
freezes and I have to reboot the
machine.
Answer:
If the machine really freezes,
the mouse does not work anymore.
If your computer truly freezes,
there could be one of several
things happening. We use JavaScript
on all of our pages, JavaScript
applets and flash in some of our
pages and this might be creating
some problems for your browser.
This is a browser problem rather
than a "web-site" problem.
Our pages also play music and
the audio plug-in might be causing
some issues as well. All of our
sound files are compatible with
Microsoft Media Player, which
is the standard media player of
Windows. Special media players
are not required. There may be
other problems with your computer
which are not browser, JavaScript
or media player related.
Solution:
You can try to check the plug-ins and the settings for these applications.
Macromedia
Flash Player plugin must be installed on your computer.
The JavaScript issue is merely a setting in your browsers Tools/Internet
Options/Security settings. You might need to try different settings but
accepting JavaScript is the ultimate setting that you need to use for
the sound or applets. A newest audio plug-in can be downloaded from the
Microsoft
web site. If none of these work, you might have a browser problem
and want to update/upgrade your browser.
Upgrading your browser will most
likely fix this problem. The applications
are all free (for now) and using
the latest version of these browsers
will truly bring the latest enhancements
of the Internet to your machine.
It is possible that you have an
older machine that might not be
able to handle the requirements
of the new browsers. Before downloading
and installing these upgrades,
check the requirements section.
Remember, when software vendors
write their "minimal requirements",
it is best to have more than the
minimal. Netscape Users: The latest
version of Netscape Communicator
can be found at http://www.netscape.com/download/.
Microsoft Internet Explorer Users:
Please go to http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/
for the latest Microsoft browser.
The software is the most popular
browser on the market and the
most frequently used by PeachPatch.com
visitors. PeachPatch pages are
designed and tested with Internet
Explorer at 800x600 resolution.
To display the quality graphics
and page design, please adjust
your monitor settings to 800x600.

Question:
Why doesn't the site remember
my information.
Answer:
A thing called "cookies".
This has to be enabled in your
browser's security setting. If
this once worked and you find
that it doesn't any more, then
most likely your "cookies"
were deleted. This happens when
someone "cleans up"
your computer with a space saving
utility. Cookies and temporary
internet files take up a lot of
hard drive space on your computer.
This can also be done by your
ISP if you have AOL or Web TV.
This has happened to many Web
TV users.
Your cookies will also disappear
when:
1. You log in to your computer
as a different user. This can
happen without knowing it. For
example if you have multiple users
of your computer, or use a shared
computer at the library.
2. You or someone else deleted
the cookies or temporary Internet
files.
3. You are using a different computer
each time you visit PeachPatch.
Solution:
The "cookie" must be
restored on your computer. For
now, cookies are the only way
we can store your settings in
a reasonable fashion.
--------------------
Question:
Why do I get an error regarding
cookies?
Answer:
We use cookies (small text-based files) that store information about your
settings. These are controlled in your internet browser's settings. You
should enable the use of cookies in your internet browsers Option settings.

Question:
May I cancel my membership?
Answer:
All
images are copyrighted and the property of PeachPatch.com. Any use of
images, without permission, is expressly forbidden. The selection of images
and or the page design are the sole decision of PeachPatch.com. There
are ample pages displaying what the membership benefits are in addition
to 4 demo pages showing what the personalization of cards, mixnmatch and
letters provide. Adequate information and samples are provided to visitors
to make a knowledgeable decision prior to joining the membership subscription.
The option is provided for a $3.95 monthly subscription. If there is any
doubt about the benefits of membership, please select the monthly option.
Often there is something in the membership area someone wants to see or use
and once that task is accomplished a refund is requested. The money collected
for Membership is used for operating expense and services rendered. Once
membership is established services have been rendered upon entering the
membership area. Membership
is a service. It is not a tangilble product whereby it is the incorrect
size or color to return for a refund. Refunds are not issued for membership
services. Therefore no refund will be issued. There is no exception
to this policy.
If you wish to cancel the subscription, it is to your advantage to wait
until two days prior to the next rebilling notification. No earlier than
two days prior to receiving the next rebilling notification, send a cancellation
request to: Customer Service and the
membership subscription will be cancelled. You may cancel the membership
at any time, but if you cancel the membership prior to the next rebilling
date, your membership information will be removed from the database. This
is done automatically by the database programming and results in not having
access to the membership area for the remaining time and no refund will
be issued. By accepting membership you have agreed to these terms of service.
